From our end when we receive the coffee there is absolutely no contact with nuts. Due to our HACCP certification, we do not allow food in or around the Roastery floor. After eating, we are required to a full wash of hands as well.
We cannot guarantee that on the farm level the coffee has not been in contact with or been close to nuts. We have not yet come across any nut components during our roasting process.
Corn you occasionally find amongst coffee though. Corn, Sugar Cane and Wheat are commonly produced alongside coffee. Or they alternate those crops with coffee every few/several years. It is sustainable for the soil to alternate crops as different crops need different nutrients than allowing depleted nutrients to return.
So in short, we do not have any nut products in our warehouse and nor do we ever see it in our roasting process. however, there is always a very slim chance and we cannot guarantee it.
