I’ve received the Expedition coffee and the roast date says it’s older than I expected?

This is normal and expected. We roast in small batches and then vacuum pack in 45g bags. Once we do that, we freeze the coffee straight after, preserving the freshness of the coffee. We send it to you while it’s frozen so it will defrost once it gets to you. This means the coffee we send essentially is only a few days of roast once you receive it!
